allow搭配詳解

1.allow(doing)sth允許(做)某事。如：

The facts allow no other explanation. 事實(shí)不允許有其他的解釋。

We don’t allow eating in the classrooms. (我們)不允許在教室吃飯。

注：有時(shí)用于被動語態(tài)。如：

Dogs are not allowed. 狗不得入內(nèi)。
