Dot是“點(diǎn)”的意思，on the dot字面意思就是“壓著點(diǎn)的”，也就是“準(zhǔn)時的，剛好在時間到的時候來的，不早也不晚的”。這個短語很實(shí)用，例如：約會，商務(wù)會議，確定日程等。
