Monday可以用作名詞

Monday的基本意思是“星期一”,指一周之中,位于星期日之后的那一天。

表示“在星期一”時通常用介詞on,在非正式語體中,尤其是美式英語中,常可省去介詞on,直接用Monday作時間狀語; 當Monday前有next, last, this, that, some, every等修飾語時,前面也不用介詞on。

在Monday后有next, last等修飾語(也稱“后置定語”)時,尤其在英式英語中,通常不省略介詞on;而在美式英語和非正式文體中,介詞on則可有可無。
